Located in the midst of the Alpine Uplands, Lake Staffelsee is well-known for its unique, breathtaking panorama. Surrounded by green fields, the mountains are reflected in the lake’s waters, creating stunning photo motifs. With its beautiful and historic town centre, nearby Murnau is worth a trip.
A 30-minute drive south from Seehausen will take you to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, located at the foot of the Zugspitze. Germany’s highest mountain attracts visitors to the region in winter and summer alike.
